We have one kid in the 8th grade who will be playing with the varsity when he gets to high school next year. he's amazing. Three of his brothers had basketball scholarships and his two sisters did too. The whole family is good and he played with them from the time he was little. The whole 8th grade team play with them all summer long. That's part of why they do so well.

Good morning KEL, CAROL, MATT and ROSE. Yep, she must have did alright....didn't get any phone calls from her school. Did go up and pick up her youngest brother at his school though.....was a delight to see all those little kids racing out of the school, flailing their arms and dragging their coats on the ground behind them. Temps were not that bad by afternoon. Lots of parents and looked like GRANDPARENTS there to pick up the kids!

Indian Summer......waiting for that, CAROL.....also have some stuff yet to store away for winter and the garden is one royal mess. Concentrating on the firewood at the moment...garden can wait. Nope, he had just got over coughing a lot over the weekend but sounded really good yesterday. Both mom and dad had to work and they didn't make arrangements for the sitter to pick him up. We got to "dine" at the local Dairy Queen while waiting for him to be released....had a cone and sundae Rolling Eyes

Good morning Don. I'd love to see Indian summer come. Keeping my fingers crossed, but it looks like we have sunny skies for the next 7 days. Even if it doesn't get much warmer than 60, it's still wonderful to have the sun.

I'll take 60s, KEL....we are supposed to have low 50s for the next couple of days but not much chance of rain.

I didn't usually get the rich, fattening stuff until I started with these latest pain pills.....now it's cookies, cake, pie and ice cream. Don't know what changed my appetite so much. I ain't gaining any weight either Very Happy
