I was just researching the meds doc has put my wife on for her bum knee.....Nabumetone...generic for Relafen. Another one of those NSAIDs like Celebrex, Naprosin etc. Don't know how long doc will have her on that med. When you read all the side effects, it scares the bejabbers out of a person. Surprised

I cant beleive she's on naproxin and another NSAID too, and you're right the side effects are awful.

Nope, KEL, I was the one on the Naproxin and just recently doc put my wife on an arthritis pill when she suddenly had severe pain in one of her knees which got diagnosed as Osteo arthritis. I don't imagine doc will have her on that pill very long because of the danger of internal bleeding.

Yep, you have to watch very closely, or you'll be in deep doo doo. I need to get off here to. I'm thinking that Grumpy will waltz in here tonight and I want it to be nice and shiny for him. We also have another basketball game this afternoon so i don't have a whole lot of time. That will teach me to waste time while my mates away. LOL

Homer is home from the hospital and resting in our recuperation cage. He seems to be doing fine, but his tummy is so skinny, now that the tennis-ball sized tumor is out of there. We let him out to sniff the house and assure him that he was, indeed, home. We had to put a dark beach towel over his little cage so he'd hunker down and get some rest. This would have been the equivalent of one of those people on Discovery TV who had their 200-lb. tumors removed. Surprised
What a relief he must feel to have that huge tumor gone!

Good evening, gang! Took the babe to the doc again today because her nose is still running and she was coughing, turns out she still has an ear infection so she's on a stronger antibiotic now. Hopefully this will take care of it. Poor kiddo is so brave while the doc was digging around in her ear to get enough wax out so she could actually see the eardrum. The babe is an ear wax queen it would seem. Just means I have to clean her ears regularly. Other than that, been a quiet but pleasantly busy day. The babe had fun at dance class, scored a cookie at the grocery store, and played T-Rex with daddy. And I slacked and didn't do much exercising or anything else except laundry and dishes today. Very Happy Tomorrow I'll be taking her to school a little earlier than normal for Munchkins for Mommy day, where we all meet in the cafeteria and eat Munchkins from Dunkin Donuts while the 1st graders serenade us. Should be interesting! Smile
