It's 28 degrees this morning with a heavy frost! BRRR!

Hope everyone is avoiding the flu! It's starting to make its rounds here now! Several kids very sick! So I guess I will be staying home or wearing my mask! Wink

They are not serious, but very sick! Today is the day we vote! So don't forget to get out there and cast your ballot for the BEST candidate! Now is not the time to stay within party lines, but to select the one who will do the most for you, and the good of our country! sunny

Good morning, Carol! No voting in my neck of the woods, as far as I know. St. Pete is having some voting, but that's about it in our area. We're still coolish this morning, in the 60s, on our way to 80 for the day. Finally autumn weather is here! Yay! I have to run to the grocery store for a few necessities today, other than that, chilling at the house and letting the babe play in her playgym. Oh yeah, she has dance class today, too. LOL. I'd be in trouble if I forgot that!

Good morning!

Nothing to vote for in our town either. But two of the neighboring towns have big school bond issues on the ballot, and both are electing school boards as well. Should be interesting!

Mr. Buckwheat's 1st hockey practice (after 4 tryout sessions) is tomorrow! His team is the Bulldogs this year.

Had to hastily scrape the frost off the truck this morning here too, but they're saying the weekend could be in the mid 60s with sunshine!

We are supposed to be getting Indian Summer here in a few days! Like a Star @ heaven

That will be very welcome! I have a lot of cleaning up to do outside like clearing out the flower beds and putting the lawn furniture away! Makes me tired just to think of it! Wink

Also need to wash a few more windows as soon as I feel better! Don't forget the babes dance class! Smile

So hockey practice has started! My grandsons are really pumped up for basketball to begin! They had their first practice last night!

I hope I can stay well enough to go to their games!

Mr. Buckwheat was my star basketball player while he played. The second year that I coached his team, we were undefeated. Twisted Evil

But now he switched over to hockey last year, much to his mom's chagrin. She wanted him to be a basketball player even before he was born.

Yep, what Carol said. My life long dream was for my kids to be Rhode Scholars, and we fell a little short on that one. LOL We had our second basketball game last night and we won again

These kids are 8th graders and they won every game except one in the last 3 years. They win because of the great team work. The coach from last year said they were the best he ever coached and the nicest boys too.. I'm all done bragging now. LOL
