When our Kroger store is real busy, you can bet you'll see managers at the regesters every time. They could do that in the bank too.

Yep, that happens here at our Kroger also, KEL......used to be that the management hung out up in their office most of the time. Gotta admit, though, I had several outstanding managers to work for during my 37 years there. Then there was the few that were absolutely awful......thank goodness they got rid of them in a hurry.

We have two times of the year when the sun shines through our bedroom window and reflects off the vanity miror into our faces.....this week has been one of those times.

Concerning yesterday's post on the stuff that accumulates under the stove and fridge...it is amazing how much there is. Another place we have it is under the washer and dryer. Wish we had a basement for those two items.

It always amazes me that the sun comes in so bright from the south in the winter. I can leave my shades open all summer long, but come fall they have to be shut and I hate it when I have to close them.

We used to kill our own beef when the kids were young and we had a big freezer.....kids would get a calf from the neighbor and we'd feed them out. Mostly they were Guernsey or Jersey bull calves which the neighbor would rather give to the kids than try and raise for himself. Not exactly the best breeds for butchering but they were free, and they made good HAMBURGER Very Happy

Our washer and dryer are right outside our bathroom and bedroom. It's an ideal place for them, but it is awful dusty around them. I try not to think of what's under them. The fridge gets pretty out of control under it too.LOL
