Mmmmmm.... I love potato salad! Rolling Eyes Hubster gags at the mere mention of anything with mayo in it -- he got deathly ill twice one summer on mayo and can't get near it now.

Sounds like an ideal location where you are John. We checked out your community online and saw 2 lovely homes for sale. We're thinking about it. Are you there year-round now or are you coming back to winter in AJ?

Tired of working our butts off to barely eke by here. Too much house payment and no free time. He works Sunday - Thursday and I work Tuesday - Saturday. We never get to see each other. Mad

Taking a break. Got the pasta salad all done for today, and the celery and onions cut up for tomorrow's potato salad. Jellos are made and a couple of dips. Now I'm going to peel the eggs and do a cucumber salad. After that I'm done I think. LOL Hope everyone has a great day and be careful out there.

having a big bbq tomorrow..lost count of all who is coming but it should be fun..having a big family reunion mid month...my uncle genos 2 sons and their families are moving up permanently..they've had it with california

Got the main ingredient for the tater salad, JOHN......FRESH DUG TATERS FROM MY GARDEN! (Sorry but I just couldn't resist the urge to see how they were coming along.....red ones are doing the best right now...vines not dying off yet but about done blooming)

Cukes are doing pretty good in the lower portion of the garden...got a couple that are almost 5 inches long already but thin as a pencil. Gonna try and keep them picked when they are ready and keep the vines producing. Failed to do so last year and the vines decided they produced enough and died off too soon.

First green beans starting to set.....must see about getting a stock pot or something like that to can them in. Don't want to make the mistake we did last year and they spoiled. Could someone tell me how long they need to boil in the jars this time? Would appreciate the input. Razz

If you don't have a pressure canner, it takes 2 1/2 hrs. I'll talk you through it!
