| Oh that was bad of her, she was passing the buck just trying to get rid of the callers. I'd hate to be her right now. LOL |

Subject of controversy in our township is the purchase of an emergency vehicle by our fire department. Trustees got their own lawyer and had the vehicle removed from the premises on some trumped up legal thing...infuriated many of the township residents. Trustees vs. the emergency responders....stupid trustees! |

| What part of you need emergency responders in rural areas do they not understand. My Doc. says I live to far away from the hospital, but I tell him I live just 3 miles from an ambulance crew, so I feel pretty safe.

| Response time for emts out here is a matter of 10 to 15 minutes...ambulance service has to come from the city and they get lost out here on our country roads.....I had to direct them a couple of times to a neighbor down the road from us. If trustees would let us have our own service through our fire department, they would know the territory much better. |

| I agree don, that's as it should be. Are there any EMTs on the fire crew? |

| gonna haveta check an' see if the CS people approved the tax increase that will hire the new police and firefighters that are graduatin' from their academies or if they trained 'em so they could go get a job somewhere else! there was a huge push against it~ guess they'd rather have potholes an' no cops an' firefighters! |

| they been pointin' out that as long as there are city parks an' bus service there are things that the city can cut without hurtin' anything~ plus cops are onna roads writin' tickets fer speedin' an fire trucks respond ta traffic accidents so they must have too many of them! |
