regular flu shots readily available out here~ swine flu ones are a whole lot scarcer! Wink

I don't get any of them! Don't trust them! The 2 years I took the flu shot, I was sick more than I have ever been in my life! And they told me NOT to get the H1N1 shot, and that came frome the Docs. at NIH! Surprised

with yer immune system compromised by chemo shooting you with a virus like that is guaranteed ta do bad things!!

They said not enough was known about the side effects yet! It's too new! Suspect

By the time they have those shots available to the wife and me, they ought to know what the side effects are. One fellow we know of got the swine flu shot back in the 70s and this last year suffered from a debilitating disease...Beein Guarre (or something like that...someone help me here with this). He recovered nicely after several months of suffering pretty bad. Only case of it I've heard of locally and this is 40 YEAR LATER!

I can remember when polio vacinations were new~ if a lotta people hadn't taken the shots a lotta poeople woulda died~ an' a lotta parents not givin' their kids shots are why whooping cough is makin' a comeback in our country!

but side effects of givin' immunisation shots to people on chemo well documented~ it kills 'em!!!

There is a whole list of bad things that can happen Don! I think the one you are talking about is Geom Barre Syndrome! It's also been linked to Gulf war syndrome and a whole pacel of other things! Surprised I'll e-mail you the thing I got from my cousin the nurse about it!
