And some folks wonder why the farmers won't let hunting etc. on their lands. Cut fences, trampled crops and such......ruins it for legitimate hunters.

Election day tomorrow...there is our chance to "throw the bums out of office" if need be...case in point, SOME of our township trustees! Be sure to let your voice be heard folks!

Gambling in OHIO is up for vote again....been defeated 3 or 4 times in the past but according to latest polls, it is being favored by over 53% of those polled and only 30% plus are opposed this time. I think the promise of many new jobs has swung opinions their way. Personally, I'm voting FOR it for that very reason......JOBS!

Well it's only 5:17 and it is getting dark outside.....I don't particularly like this time change but will get used to it eventually.

Good afternoon, JULIEANN......sorry to hear about HOMER......well wishes on the way....and prayers too. A person sure can get attached to their pets, huh? What are the names of the rest of the gang?

Still with us are Homer (~5 1/2 years old), Kit (our youngster at 3 years old), Elmo (aka Mr. Rumple, age unknown), Emma (the oldest at 7 1/2 years) & Clyde (7 years old).
I love you

That' quite a group of little ferrets that have gone to happy Ferret land JulieAnne. They're all there applauding you for your efforts and the good home you gave them. Just got home a bit ago from the ball game, (we won) late super and chatting with some of the family. Dr. said that it looked like I was good for surgery as long as it as after harvest. My chances would be much better then. It's set up for Jan 21st. Not so sure that I'm happy with the date. It's the x husbands birthday. YIKES !!!! I guess it would be hard to find a date that wasn't someone in the families birthday. LOL
