 cheap can be pretty

I've been wanting to tile this little section of wall in the kitchen forever because, as you can see in the picture, the genius who designed the house put the dishwasher alongside a facing wall so yeah, the wall can get dirty loading the dishwasher. Found these peel-n-stick tiles in a catalog for $7 a pack. Cost me $14 to do the wall and a splash guard strip above the sink.

Can't decide if I should put another strip above that one or leave it as is. Will decide in a week or so, I guess.

Those look marvelous!! Do they come in other finishes? Something like a brushed pewter would look good in our kitchen (it's all stainless steel appliances, black granite countertop, clear maple cabinets and pale silvery-beige ceramic floor tiles.)
